Eggslut cracks Manchester with Valentine’s Day opening
To mark the opening, a Manchester-only promotion will run until the end of February.
Eggslut is set to open its first Manchester restaurant on 14 February.
The all-day breakfast chain will serve its standard menu from early morning through to late afternoon, with a series of opening-day promotions planned to coincide with Valentine’s Day.
The Manchester site will stick closely to Eggslut’s existing menu, which centres on egg-based breakfast sandwiches.
Options include the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese, alongside newer items such as the Pork Romesco, made with crispy pork belly, romesco sauce, and an over-easy egg.
Longstanding menu items will also be available, including the Fairfax—a brioche bun filled with soft scrambled eggs, caramelised onions, chives, cheddar, and sriracha mayo—and the Truffle Hash Browns.
A newer sweet option will also be on offer: brioche French toast sticks, fried and coated in cinnamon sugar, served with maple custard.
To mark the opening, Eggslut will run a Manchester-only promotion from Valentine’s Day until the end of February, offering two sandwiches and two hash browns for £25, available in store.
On opening day, the first 100 customers from 8 am will receive a free sandwich. Branded umbrellas will also be given to people queuing outside.
The Manchester location will also offer catering, a service introduced by the brand in 2025, with slider-sized options aimed at offices and events.
Eggslut first appeared in the UK at Taste of London in 2019, before opening its first permanent site on Portobello Road later that year.
It has since expanded across London, with locations including Fitzrovia, Shoreditch, Liverpool Street, Stratford, Market Halls Victoria, and Canary Wharf.
Manchester marks its first step outside the capital.
Eggslut Manchester is located at Centurion House, Deansgate. It will open seven days a week, from 7 am to 4 pm on weekdays and 8 am to 5 pm on weekends.
