Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu opens third restaurant in Singapore

The brand is offering free kids' meals to mark the opening.

Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu opened its third restaurant in Singapore, two years after its first opened in the country.

The restaurant serves Gyukatsu, a popular Japanese dish consisting of a breaded and deep-fried beef cutlet, similar to tonkatsu (pork cutlet). The beef is typically coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs and flash-fried to a crisp exterior whilst leaving the inside red, tender, and relatively rare. It is often served sliced.

As part of its opening promotions, kids under 10 years old eat for free.

Founded in Kyoto in 2014, Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu is one of the largest gyukatsu speciality restaurants from Japan, and has over 70 sites internationally.
