QSR Media Awards 2026 nominations deadline nears
22 categories will be judged.
Australia's quick-service restaurant industry has until 7 August to submit nominations for the QSR Media Awards 2026, with winners to be announced on 12 October at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park alongside the QSR Media Conference & Awards 2026, powered by Red Bull.
The programme spans 22 categories, including three introduced this year that reflect where competition in the sector is heading.
The Best Drive-Thru Initiative recognises brands improving speed and operational efficiency at the drive-thru. The Best Loyalty Programme category spotlights operators using rewards and engagement to build retention and frequency. The Beyond the Counter Award celebrates brands that have grown beyond the restaurant itself — through retail products, partnerships, and format innovation.
Existing categories cover digital initiatives, brand transformation, marketing campaigns, menu innovation, customer experience, sustainability, employee recognition, and diversity and inclusion, amongst others.
The awarding ceremony will be held in conjunction with the QSR Media Conference & Awards 2026, powered by Red Bull, one of the biggest gatherings of QSR industry business leaders in Australia.
