Subway has opened its first restaurant under the control of its new master franchisee, Yellowstone Investment Corp. Ltd in Taiwan.
According to a LinkedIn post by Subway Asia Pacific, Yellowstone built a full operating organisation from the ground up before opening its first restaurant in just over three months.
Subway first signed a master franchise agreement with Yellowstone in March 2026. Under the agreement, Yellowstone will assume responsibility for managing and developing all Subway restaurants across the market, building on the brand’s established presence whilst positioning Subway for long-term, sustainable expansion.
