The Venti brews Philippine expansion with local franchise deal
The chain aims to open its first outlet in Q3 2026.
The Venti has entered into a master franchise agreement with Philippine food and beverage company JJR BROTHERS FOOD CORP., formally beginning its expansion into the Philippine market.
The South Korean budget coffee chain said its move into the Philippines follows an assessment of the country’s market potential and will serve as a step toward broader expansion in Southeast Asia.
It identified the Philippines as a promising market due to its young consumer base and strong café and dining-out culture, where it hopes to compete through its range of beverage offerings and affordable pricing.
JJR BROTHERS FOOD CORP., The Venti’s local franchise partner, operates across the Philippine F&B and retail sectors through a supply chain network covering restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, distribution, and logistics.
The company has also previously introduced and expanded Korean food and beverage brands in the local market, particularly in Metro Manila.
The Venti plans to open its first Philippine store in the third quarter of 2026.
The company said it will work with its local partner to develop store operations and menu offerings tailored to Filipino consumers and local market conditions.
The brand added that it will adjust its market approach based on consumer preferences and business environments in each country, aiming to establish itself as an everyday café option for local customers.
The Philippines marks the chain’s fifth overseas market entry, following Canada, Vietnam, Jordan, and the US.
