GAIL’s appoints Nick Ayerst as new managing director

He will be taking over at the end of March 2025.

Bakery chain GAIL’s appointed Nick Ayerst as its managing director (MD), effective at the end of March.

Ayerst joined Gail’s from Comptoir Group, where he served as CEO. He was also previously the MD of LEON and led TRG Concessions.

“Nick’s extensive industry experience and people-focused leadership will strengthen our team for the growth ahead and will contribute to our ambitious plans,” said Marta Pogroszewska, managing director of GAIL’s and COO of Bread Holdings Limited, in a LinkedIn post.

Additionally, Bread Holdings Limited, the parent company of GAIL’s and the Bread Factory, has also appointed Dan Barrett as the MD of The Bread Factory.
