Sushi Jiro opens first restaurant in Perth
The chain said it will be Perth’s largest sushi train.
Sushi Jiro opened its first Perth restaurant in Westfield Carousel.
According to the restaurant chain, it will be the biggest sushi train in Perth, measuring 114 metres and accommodating 126 guests.
The new restaurant opening follows a previous opening in Brisbane’s Westfield Chermside.
CEO Anna Kasman said that her and the Sushi Jiro team are excited to continue their Australian expansion with the first Perth Sushi Jiro restaurant in Westfield Carousel.
“We are excited to establish a strong presence in Perth, and when debating our first location, Westfield Carousel just made sense. It is a prime area that attracts a diverse and large customer base, offering excellent visibility and accessibility for introducing Sushi Jiro to a new market," Kasman said.
The next Sushi Jiro restaurant in the works is the renovation of Sushi Jiro Emporium in Victoria, transforming it from a takeaway concept into a full sushi train with robots.
Sushi Jiro’s new Perth restaurant is open seven days a week, 11am to 9pm, and is located within Westfield Carousel.
Sushi Jiro is a quick service Japanese restaurant chain in Australia, with 27 locations across Victoria and Queensland.
