Tortilla launches fitness collaboration with TikTok star Jonny Davies

The brand will release a new menu that is perfect for fitness training.

UK Mexican chain Tortilla is collaborating with TikTok running sensation Jonny Davies to launch a burrito that will become the perfect training food.

The collaboration will see Tortilla release a new March Flavour of the Month offering called ‘Jonny D’s Beef’, packed with 34g of protein. 

According to Tortilla, burrito (or naked burrito) hits all the food groups with a rich source of carbohydrates for energy, quality sources of protein, as well as fresh fruit and vegetables packed with fibre, iron and antioxidants. 

 Made fresh to order, Jonny D’s Beef is packed with Tortilla’s signature 24-hour marinated British Isles beef barbacoa, coriander rice, black beans, grilled seasonal vegetables, fresh hand-smashed guacamole, salsa verde, pickled red onions and crisp lettuce.

Tortilla is a macro-friendly food joint and their online calculator is a lifesaver for helping track meals out. My burrito combo has 34g of protein, banging fresh ingredients, and gives me energy for my runs. If I’m looking for an extra protein hit, I go for double beef,” Davies said.

Tortilla’s Marketing Director Megan Burton-Brown says the menu launch highlights the synergy between burritos and a healthy lifestyle.

 “We pride ourselves on offering a fully customisable menu to suit any lifestyle, dietary needs or health and fitness goals. Our newly appointed CEO Andy Naylor recently ran a marathon in under 3 hours, having eaten Tortilla almost every day in the lead-up! Highlighting they’re a great training food,” said Megan.

‘Jonny D’s Beef’ is available at 60+ participating Tortilla restaurants nationwide for the month of March. Customers who are members of Tortilla’s loyalty programme can earn double loyalty points when they purchase.
