Fireaway Pizza turns 10 with limited-time Italian menu
The chain will also run a “Nonnas Eat for Free” promotion throughout May.
Fireaway Pizza is marking its tenth anniversary with a limited-edition Italian menu available throughout May.
The chain has added three pizzas to its menu for the month: the Arrabiata, topped with tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella, parmesan, basil, and chilli oil; the Diavola, made with Italian sausage, chicken, nduja, caramelised onions, and peppers; and the Quattro Formaggi, featuring béchamel, mozzarella, parmesan, cheddar, buffalo mozzarella, and truffle oil.
The menu also includes truffle mushroom dough balls, caprese salad, and truffle mushroom mac and cheese.
As part of the anniversary campaign, Fireaway is running a “Nonnas Eat for Free” promotion throughout May.
Customers who dine with an older relative, parent, grandparent, or family friend can claim a free pizza for that guest when ordering as a group of two or more.
Customers can register for the promotion through Fireaway’s website to receive a QR code for in-store redemption.
Fireaway commissioned research into eating habits in the UK, which found differences between generations in how often people share meals.
Amongst adults aged 55 and over, 37% said they eat together less often than when they were growing up, compared with 15% who said they do so more often.
Amongst under-35s, 50% said they now eat together more often than they did growing up.
The survey also found that 59% of UK adults would like to eat with their family more frequently, rising to 69% amongst under-35s and 73% amongst households with children.
Meanwhile, 88% said shared meals are an important way to stay connected with loved ones.
Respondents cited practical barriers to eating together, with 33% blaming physical distance and 29% pointing to conflicting schedules.
More than half, 57%, said phones and screens are a distraction during meals.
Fireaway currently operates more than 160 stores across the UK.
