Domino’s names Dieter Haberl as new Japan CEO

He will take on the role on 20 October.

Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd has appointed Dieter Haberl as CEO for Domino’s Japan, effective 20 October.

Haberl has more than 25 years of chief executive experience in Japan in consumer-facing brands, both locally owned and for Japanese divisions of multinational enterprises.

Domino’s Asia CEO Josh Kilimnik, currently also acting Japan CEO, will depart the business by 30 March 2026, after a transition period with Haberl and the Asian leadership teams.

Kilimnik has served Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd and Domino’s Pizza International for more than two decades across leadership roles in Australia/New Zealand, the Middle East and Africa, and Southeast Asia.

Kilimnik’s departure follows a decision to reduce G&A costs across the business, including reducing regional leadership structures and shifting more decision-making power to local markets.

Accordingly, the roles of CEO Asia and the vacant role of CEO Europe will not be filled.
