Dave's Hot Chicken signs European expansion deal with Azzurri Group
It aims to open 180 restaurants in 10 countries in Europe.
Dave's Hot Chicken has finalised a landmark agreement with UK-based Azzurri Group that will see the US chain expand across Europe.
The agreement gives Azzurri exclusive rights to roll out the brand in 10 countries: France, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Italy, and Turkey.
It plans to open up to 180 restaurants, with Azzurri working with local partners in each market.
The move follows Dave’s Hot Chicken’s first UK site, which opened in late 2024 on Shaftesbury Avenue in London. Since then, the chain has added branches in Birmingham and Manchester.
Azzurri, which runs more than 225 sites across its existing brands, including ASK Italian, Zizzi, Coco di Mama, and Boojum, will oversee the European expansion.
