Delivery sales from Britain's leading restaurant groups rose 4.1% in September, compared with the same month the previous year, according to CGA by NIQ's latest Hospitality at Home Tracker.

The tracker also reveals a slump in like-for-like takeaway and click-and-collect sales of 8.7%, giving a combined performance for the sector of just 0.4% compared with September 2024.
Overall sales, including newly opened restaurants or those offering delivery or takeaways for the first time, were 8.7% ahead year on year.
