Premium Hong Kong bubble tea brand Silk opens its first Boba Cafe concept

The new concept aims to appeal to consumers looking for a distinct experience.

Hong Kong-based boba brand Silk will open its first Boba Cafe concept in Kennedy Town which aims to elevate the bubble tea concept by way of more premium offerings and exclusive in-store merchandise inspired by Hong Kong’s fashion and culture.

The cafe is located in a vintage building, showcasing original design elements and artifacts from the 1960s and 70s, whilst infusing the space with fresh, contemporary touches.

The café offers a menu that includes Silk.'s classic drinks, such as the Smooth King—made with a 50-year-old Hong Kong-style milk tea recipe, black sugar boba, cheese cloud, and honeycomb—as well as new creations exclusive to this location, like the Smooth Sesame, which combines black sesame milk with black sugar boba, cheese cloud, and charcoal powder.

In addition to its beverage offerings, the café provides exclusive merchandise inspired by vintage Hong Kong fashion and culture, enhancing its appeal to both locals and visitors seeking a distinctive experience. Customers can also capture their moments at the café using viral mini retro cameras available in-store, adding a nostalgic touch to their visit.

With the new Kennedy Town cafe, the brand currently has five outlets in Hong Kong and one in Singapore.
