Caprinos founders launch new chicken QSR chain Zinglet

Zinglet plans to open at least 15 locations over the next year.

Zinglet, a new British hot chicken quick-service restaurant chain launched by the founders of Caprinos Pizza, is set to open its first UK site in Birkenhead on 15 May, with additional locations planned in the coming months.

Operating as a separate concept, Zinglet will focus on made-to-order hot chicken, with a menu featuring wings, tenders, and burgers available in four spice levels.

The chicken is coated with a proprietary seasoning blend of herbs and spices.

The first franchised restaurant in Birkenhead will seat 40 customers and target dine-in occasions, including family meals and casual evenings out.

The company also plans to introduce smaller-format franchised sites as it tests different store sizes and locations ahead of a wider UK expansion.

Zinglet plans to open at least 15 locations over the next year across a range of formats and site types as it evaluates performance data before a broader national rollout.
