Krispy Kreme is launching Ghostbuster-inspired doughnuts for Halloween in celebration of Columbia Pictures 1984 film’s 40th anniversary.
The first Ghostbuster film released in 1984 casts Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, and Bill Murray as scientists who fights ghosts.
The special Halloween edition doughnuts will be available starting 8 October. The brand is launching four special editions, the Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme Doughnut, the Slimer Doughnut, the Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut, and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut.
Krispy Kreme and Ghostbusters fans can also get a limited-time Krispy Kreme dozen or 4-pack featuring the Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme Doughnut, Slimer Doughnut, Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut delivered fresh daily to select grocery stores.
