Crust launches new pizza sandwiches

The new sandwiches come in five varieties.

Crust Pizza has launched a new lunchtime option, introducing the new Piadina sandwiches.

The Crust Lunch Piadina is a part pizza part sandwich menu innovation that uses the brand’s signature dough pizza. The new menu was inspired by traditional Italian street food.

The Crust Lunch Piadina comes in five varieties from the Crust Deli, made with prosciutto, bocconcini, mortadella, cucumber, pickled red onion, mixed leaves and truffle aioli); the Pepperoni Caprese, a piadina with pepperoni, bocconcini, tomato, fresh baby spinach, pesto aioli and hot honey; the Sicilian Chicken made with House roasted chicken, roasted green capsicum, pickled red onion, bocconcini, garlic aioli, mixed leaves and lemon wedge; the Garlic Lamb & Feta, made with house roasted mediterranean lamb, feta, garlic aioli, cucumber, mixed leaves, tomato and lemon wedge; and finally the Beef Brisket Dip which is made with slow cooked beef brisket, sharp swiss cheese, caramelised onion, shallots & garlic aioli. Served with house made jus.

The new menu aims to tap into the lunch daypart which represents 25% of daily sales in the quick-service restaurant category.
