McDonald’s UK&I gets saucy with three new summer dips

The Cornetto McFlurry is also returning for the first time in almost 17 years.

McDonald’s is introducing a range of new and returning menu items across the UK and Ireland this summer, including three limited-time dipping sauces: Hot Honey, Korean BBQ, and Ranch.

The Korean BBQ and Ranch dips will be available for six weeks only, whilst the Hot Honey dip joins the menu as a new sweet-and-spicy option.

The sauces can be ordered throughout the day, including during breakfast hours.

The Hot Honey Dip combines sweet honey with a chilli kick and is designed to pair with items such as Chicken Selects and Chicken McNuggets.

The Ranch Dip offers a cooler option, with a creamy buttermilk base and flavours of herbs and garlic.

The Korean BBQ dip adds a sweeter, savoury flavour profile with soy, ginger, and garlic.

The new Hot Honey flavour also features across several menu items. The Hot Honey McCrispy includes a crispy chicken breast fillet topped with iceberg lettuce, white cheddar cheese, and Hot Honey sauce in a sesame-topped bun.

Breakfast options are also getting the spicy treatment, with the Hot Honey Sausage & Egg McMuffin and Hot Honey Double Sausage & Egg McMuffin combining a pork sausage patty, free-range egg, cheese, and Hot Honey sauce in a toasted English muffin.

Another new addition is Mozzarella Dippers with Hot Honey, featuring breaded mozzarella sticks served with the new dipping sauce.

For larger appetites, McDonald’s is adding the Big Arch with Bacon. The burger includes two British and Irish beef patties, bacon, white cheddar cheese, crispy onions, lettuce, pickles, and Big Arch sauce in a poppy and sesame seed bun.

A new dessert option, the Hot Honey Mini McFlurry, will be available exclusively through the McDonald’s App via collection and McDelivery.

The item pairs soft dairy ice cream with a separate Hot Honey dip, allowing customers to control how much sauce they add.

The Cornetto McFlurry is also returning for the first time in almost 17 years.

The Cornetto Classico McFlurry combines vanilla soft serve with chocolate sauce and chocolate Cornetto cone pieces, whilst the Cornetto Strawberry McFlurry features strawberry sauce and strawberry-flavoured cone pieces.

The summer menu is available now at participating McDonald’s restaurants across the UK&I, with some items available for a limited time only.
