Deliveroo launches in-app restaurant reservations in the UAE

The feature was first launched in Dubai.

Deliveroo UAE has introduced a new in-app feature called Deliveroo Reservations, built with reservation technology from SevenRooms.

The feature allows users to browse and book tables at a selected list of restaurants across the city, including higher-demand dining venues.

The aim is to place restaurant discovery and reservations in the same app used for ordering food.

The launch is part of Deliveroo’s broader effort to drive more in-restaurant business to its partner restaurants, not just delivery orders.

It also comes after DoorDash acquired Deliveroo and SevenRooms in 2025 and is the first major product integration following those acquisitions.

The integration links Deliveroo directly with SevenRooms’ reservation system so that availability, bookings, and cancellations update automatically without manual coordination.

The feature launched first in Dubai, with plans to expand to other parts of the UAE.
