Warrens Bakery accelerates travel-site growth in London
The bakery chain opened its first bakery in a London travel site.
Warrens Bakery opened a new flagship bakery in Liverpool Street Station, marking its first bakery location in a London travel site.
The opening is part of the brand’s strategy to open more railway station locations, banking on the success of its opening in Slough, Basingstoke, Cardiff and Bath.
The new bakery will have the custom-branded Café Racer coffee machine of the highest specification, designed to keep up with the busiest service environments. Warrens Bakery has selected Bridge Coffee’s medium hand-roasted Wild Meadow blend for customers.
The brand said it is looking to expand further in this area in the UK’s capital city.
Warrens Bakery was established on the cobbled streets of St. Just in Cornwall when two Cornish families, the Warrens and the Harveys, united in marriage in 1860 to share their love for baking and brought together a host of artisan baking skills.
Over 160 years later, it now has 45 UK bakery stores and offers a contemporary, inviting space, bringing Liverpool Street commuters some of the most innovative bakery products to enjoy on their journey.
