Zarraffa’s Coffee to open new Capalaba Park drive-thru
This is the company’s eleventh and final planned opening for 2025.
Zarraffa’s Coffee will open a new drive-thru outlet at Capalaba Park in December, expanding the chain’s presence in Brisbane’s bayside suburbs.
The Capalaba Park store is the company’s eleventh and final planned opening for 2025.
It marks another step in the career of long-time franchisee Justin Fu, who has been with the brand for about 20 years.
Fu first took over the Toowong store in 2005, later moved to Cannon Hill in 2018, and now adds a third site with the Capalaba Park relocation.
The new drive-through replaces the Capalaba Kiosk, which closed last month, and will use the company’s updated dual-lane design.
About 40 staff will work at the new site, a mix of experienced workers from Cannon Hill and roughly 20 new local hires.
Fu and his Cannon Hill team have been active in local fundraising and support for childcare centres, schools, and sporting clubs, an approach he plans to continue at Capalaba Park.
The store will serve the company’s usual coffee range and food menu, including its newer in-house baked items and breakfast options.
Zarraffa’s says it is continuing a national expansion push, aiming for more than 200 stores ahead of the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.
The company currently operates more than 85 outlets across Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria.
