Lakehaven team wins KFC Games 2025
Judges assessed teams on service, food quality, accuracy, and teamwork.
The national finals of the KFC Games were held in Cairns, where the team from KFC Lakehaven in New South Wales took out the 2025 championship title.
Now in its 38th year, the competition brought together top-performing KFC restaurant teams from across Australia to the KFC Gordonvale site.
From a workforce of about 45,000 employees nationwide, seven regional winners advanced to the finals after months of preliminary heats that tested speed, precision, and teamwork.
In the final 40-minute round, teams were challenged to serve as many customers as possible, preparing a range of standard KFC menu items, including Zinger Burgers, Original Recipe Chicken, Popcorn Chicken, Nuggets, and chips.
Judges scored competitors on customer service, cooking quality, burger assembly, order packing, and overall teamwork.
The seven finalists represented restaurants in Queen Street Mall (QLD), Lakehaven (NSW), Spring Farm (NSW), Cannington (WA), Modbury (SA), Lansell (VIC), and Kings Meadows (TAS).
