KFC China launches sub-brand serving Chinese and Korean-style fried chicken
The new concept is now part of Yum China's growing portfolio of sub-brands.
Yum China launched a sub-brand fried chicken concept in Shanghai that only serves Chinese-style and Korean-style fried chicken.
The brand called ‘炸鸡兄弟’, which translates to ‘fried chicken brothers’, has two locations in Shanghai.
“As one of the pilot concepts KFC is currently working on, we believe it is a testament to our relentless innovation to better serve our customers,” Yum China told QSR Media in an email.
User reviews from Xiaohongshu, a Chinese social media platform, revealed that prices average around $4.12 or RMB30.
The new concept is now part of Yum China’s growing portfolio of sub-brands, which also includes KCOFFEE, KPro, and Pizza Hut Wow.
