Grill'd, Beyond Meat partner to launch new plant-based offering
The burger is free of soy, gluten, and GMOs and cooked with avocado oil.
Grill’d has collaborated with plant-based meat brand Beyond Meat to launch the latest version of the Beyond Burger, called the Beyond Burger IV.
The new fourth-generation Beyond Burger is free from soy, gluten, and GMOs and is now cooked with avocado oil.
Each 113g serving contains 20 grams of protein, sourced from peas, brown rice, red lentils, and faba beans. It is vegan-certified and has a higher protein content than Grill’d’s other plant-based burgers.
The release comes as more Australians shift toward plant-based eating.
Surveys show 39% of Australians are trying to reduce their meat intake, 19% identify as flexitarian, and 38% say they are open to substituting animal meat for plant-based alternatives.
