Retail Food Group CEO resigns

Peter George has also been appointed as executive chairman.

Retail Food Group (RFG) has announced the resignation of Matt Marshall, group CEO.

In an ASX filing, Marshall’s resignation takes effect immediately while Peter George, the non-executive chairman of the group, hase been named executive chairman while the board conducts a global search for a new CEO.

George will assume all CEO responsibilities to ensure smooth transition.

Marshall was first appointed more than two years ago as CEO. He was previously the group’s head of retail.

RFG said it is seeking a new leader with deep franchise experience, reaffirming plans to grow its core brands to 200 domestic outlets, expand Firehouse Subs’ franchise network, and take Donut King and Gloria Jean’s overseas.
