Fireaway reopens Chislehurst branch under new ownership

The new owner aims to restore its core pizza menu.

Fireaway Pizza has reopened its Chislehurst branch after a change in ownership.

The restaurant, on Chislehurst Road, has been taken over by local business owner Mazhar Zahoor.

The relaunch follows a period of transition, with the new owner aiming to revive the outlet’s presence in the area and restore its core pizza menu.

Zahoor has previously operated several retail businesses and also owns Albany Tandoori, an Indian restaurant in Enfield.

Day-to-day operations at the Chislehurst site will be overseen by his brother, Zaheer Ahmed, alongside staff members who have worked at the branch in previous years.

To mark the reopening, the restaurant is offering any pizza for £5 for the first two weeks of trading, from 18 January to 1 February.

Customers placing their first order during this period will also receive a complimentary garlic bread or a portion of potato wedges.

The offers are available to residents who sign up via a Chislehurst-specific link, after which they will receive a QR code by email to redeem in-store.
