Taco Bell expands into tourist hubs starting with Chiang Mai

This restaurant has an in-line model that features both indoor and outdoor areas.

Mexican chain Taco Bell opened its first restaurant in Tha Phae Gate, Chiang Mai.

The new restaurant is an inline model featuring both indoor and outdoor areas for dine-in and takeaway.

The new opening is part of the brand’s strategy to open more restaurants in tourist catchment areas and more Tier 1 cities.

According to Chalermchai Mahagitsiri, President and CEO of Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited (TTA) and Director of Siam Taco Company Limited, the franchise owner of Taco Bell Thailand, they expect to attract around 60% Thai customers and 40% foreign customers.

Taco Bell's menu include the Crunchy Taco Supreme, Crunchwrap Supreme, Chicken Quesadilla, Grilled Stuft Burrito, and Loaded Nachos. Additionally, the menu features a variety of enticing snacks and desserts such as Cheesy Chips, Cheesy Fries, Cheese Quesadilla, Cinnamon Twists, and Chocodilla.
