Greggs opens 600th franchise outlet

The company currently works with 14 franchise partners across the UK.

Greggs has opened its 600th franchise outlet at Stonecross Services in Bexwell, with long-term franchise partner Motor Fuel Group (MFG).

Franchise agreements allow Greggs to expand into high-traffic and otherwise limited-access locations, such as motorway service areas, petrol stations, train stations, and smaller convenience sites.

The company currently works with 14 franchise partners across the UK, helping to extend the brand’s presence.

In 2025, Greggs added 57 franchised outlets, with franchised locations now making up just over 20% of its total network.

Through its deal with MFG, Greggs operates 147 shops on MFG sites, mainly at petrol stations and roadside locations.
