Gong cha signs 100 unit deal in Thailand
The new sites will be designed under its new Gong cha 2.0 rebrand.
Gong cha has announced that it has entered into a master franchise agreement with PERFECT STEP CO., LTD to open 100 sites in Thailand, with the first one already opened at centralwOrld, 3rd Floor, Beacon Zone.
According to the brand, each of the new sites will meet the Gong cha 2.0 store design. Gong cha 2.0 brings a scalable, adaptable and welcoming store look-and-feel that is underpinned by innovative technology to cut customer wait times and improve the overall customer experience.
The launch follows the group’s opening in Columbia and Ecuador. For the next 10 years, Gong cha plans to open 10,000 sites around the world.
Founded in Taiwan in 2006 and now headquartered in the United Kingdom, Gong cha first expanded overseas in 2009 and has grown significantly to operate nearly 2,200 stores in 31 markets.
