KFC tops growth in Saudi dining consideration

A YouGov report on dining brands in Saudi Arabia shows that KFC was the most improved dining brand based on consumer consideration over the past 12 months (+2.4), followed by Hardee’s (+1.8) and Baskin-Robbins (+1.5).
Generational rankings indicate Albaik leads across all age groups, with 48.4% of Gen Z naming it amongst their most considered brands, ahead of McDonald’s (27.7%), Al Tazaj (26.1%), KFC (21.2%), Kudu (15.7%), Herfy (14.8%), Starbucks (14.5%), Pizza Hut (14%), Barn’s (12.9%), and Maestro Pizza (12.5%).
Amongst Millennials, Albaik again tops the list at 54.6%, followed by Al Tazaj (35.2%), McDonald’s (26.7%), KFC (24.8%), Herfy (19.7%), Kudu (19.1%), Pizza Hut (18.6%), Domino’s (17.1%), Maestro Pizza (16.6%), and Starbucks (16.5%).
For Gen X, Albaik rises further to 62.1%, with Al Tazaj (35.9%), McDonald’s (27.4%), KFC (23.4%), Herfy (22.8%), Kudu (22.2%), Pizza Hut (18.7%), Maestro Pizza (18.4%), Domino’s (18.2%), and Starbucks (17.8%) completing the top 10.
In terms of brand perception, Albaik also ranks highest for quality with a net score of 54.5, followed by Al Tazaj (34.9), McDonald’s and Kudu (both 21.4), Domino’s (20.5), Pizza Hut (20.0), Baskin-Robbins (19.7), KFC (18.8), and Maestro Pizza and Herfy (both 18.5).
On value, Albaik again leads with 56.2, ahead of Al Tazaj (30.6), McDonald’s (18.5), Herfy (17.8), Kudu (17.1), Domino’s and Pizza Hut (both 15.2), Maestro Pizza (14.9), KFC (13.6), and Barn’s (11.9).
