Hungry Jack’s Wishmaker campaign running for second consecutive year

The campaign raised $1.36 million last year.

For a second consecutive year, Hungry Jack’s says its crew and guests can donate to Make-A-Wish Australia by purchasing Wishmaker Stars ($1, $2 and $5) at any Hungry Jack’s restaurants via in-store, drive-thru or online during March until April 4.

All proceeds from Wishmaker stars sold at Hungry Jack’s go to the charity.

“Hungry Jack’s is delighted to be working with the community to help raise much needed funds for Make-A-Wish Australia to help grant the wishes of children with serious illnesses,” Hungry Jack’s chief marketing officer Scott Baird said. 

In its inaugural year, the Hungry Jack’s Wishmaker campaign raised $1.36 million, which enabled Make-A-Wish to deliver 100 wishes to children around the country in 100 days.

The chain says Make-A-Wish Australia now has more than 800 seriously ill children “waiting for their wish to come true.”

“We encourage everyone to get behind the Wishmaker campaign because every wish and wish journey changes a child’s life for the better, having long lasting effects on the child and their family,” Baird concluded.
