QSR Media concludes yearly conference in resounding success

All tickets were sold out in the event that celebrates the QSR industry.

The QSR Media UK Dynamic Yield Conference & Awards 2024, held on May 21, was a resounding success, marking another year of innovation and excellence within the quick-service restaurant (QSR) and fast-casual dining sectors.

This sold-out event brought together industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders for a day of insightful discussions, networking, and celebration of the best in the business.

The opening session, led by Shannon Goldsmith, Senior Insight Analyst at IGD, explored the economic outlook for the eating-out market, setting the stage for a day filled with forward-thinking discussions.

A standout session was the Leaders Panel, moderated by Seton Leung from Circana, featuring industry heavyweights like Sohail Ali of Chaiiwala, Guy Meakin from Pret A Manger, Ian Cranna of Taco Bell UK & Ireland, and James Whitehorn from KFC UK & Ireland. This panel tackled the year's biggest challenges, from rising costs to shifting consumer trends, providing valuable insights into navigating and thriving in a dynamic market.

The conference also delved into the importance of personalised digital customer experiences with a session by Mayank Patel, followed by a presentation on the UK QSR consumer by Peter Linden of Circana. These sessions highlighted the necessity for QSR operators to adapt and innovate in response to changing consumer behaviors and economic pressures.

The event also saw the awards programme held where 20 brands took centre stage to be recognised for their achievements within the quick-service and fast-casual restaurant industry.

The QSR Media UK Dynamic Yield Conference & Awards 2024 not only celebrated the best in the industry but also served as a platform for discussing the future of QSR. With sessions on AI and machine learning, market growth strategies, and brand expansion, the event provided a comprehensive overview of the trends and technologies shaping the future of quick-service and fast-casual dining.

As the industry continues to evolve, events like this play a crucial role in fostering innovation, excellence, and collaboration among QSR leaders and stakeholders. The success of this year's conference and awards programme is a testament to the vibrant and dynamic nature of the QSR industry in the UK.
