Domino’s Pizza Singapore eyes further expansion despite F&B sector closures
The move reflects the 'disciplined network expansion' strategy its operator said.
Domino’s Pizza Singapore has announced its intent to expand further despite over 2,400 food & beverage outlets closing in Singapore in 2025.
The brand announced new franchise opportunities and plans to strengthen its presence in Singapore.
“Singapore remains a strategic growth market for Domino’s. Our achievements here are driven by solid partnerships, disciplined execution and an unwavering customer focus,” Ringo Joannes, Region CEO of Domino’s Pizza Singapore, Malaysia & Cambodia said.
The move follows plans to reset the business, prioritising an increase in franchise partner profitability after parent company, Domino's Pizza Enterprises (DPE), reported a same-store sales dip of 6.1% in the half-year ending 28 December 2025. Part of these plans includes reducing discount promotions, investing in more sustainable same-store sales growth, and disciplined network expansion.
In Asia, DPE operates the pizza chain in Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Cambodia.
