Wingers spends £200k on new production unit

The goal is to support the group’s franchising strategies.

Wingers has invested £200 in equipment and a new production unit to support its franchise expansion.

This follows the £150k investment in September last year to double the size of its in-house marination facility in Aldridge, Birmingham, which includes a delivery van unit, extending the refrigeration area from an eight-pallet cold room to a 30 to 40-pallet fridge, and building an upper-level mezzanine store for non-refrigerated goods

The investment will cover the re-configuration of the current marination facility to include a secure delivery van unit, extended refrigeration area from an eight-pallet cold room to a 30 to 40-pallet fridge, plus an upper-level mezzanine store for non-refrigerated goods.

In a previous interview with founders, Amran Sunner & Dylan Sunner, their investments in their in-house marination is their way to guarantee the quality and consistency of the Wingers brand.

It means we can guarantee exactly what is distributed to our stores and when, so our customers have the great-tasting meal they have come to expect from Wingers every time,” Amran explained.

“Wingers is growing rapidly and we now have fifteen restaurants trading successfully with ambitions to secure 30 sites by the end of 2025,” Dylan Sunner, co-founder and Head of Procurement at Wingers, said.

Wingers has 14 restaurants as of March 2025, with goals to reach 30 by the end of the year.
