Wendy’s announces opening date for Brisbane flagship restaurant
The brand undertook a massive marketing campaign in the city’s CBD.
Wendy’s will open its flagship restaurant in Brisbane, the first ever ‘Haus of Wendy’, on 29 October 2025.
To celebrate, the brand took to the streets of Brisbane’s central business district, adorning famous statues with Wendy’s signature red pigtails whilst a group of Wendy’s ‘Redhead Royalty’ engaged the public with free burger vouchers across King George Square and other key sites.
"We're not here to play by the old rules. Wendy's is about being fresh, bold, and a little unexpected. Today was just a taste of the energy we're bringing to Brisbane. The Haus of Wendy is more than a restaurant; it's an experience, and we can't wait to open the doors next week,” said Corina Black, Chief Marketing Officer at Flynn Group Wendy’s Asia Pacific.
The restaurant will open in the city’s CBD with a blue façade overlooking King George Square at 9 AM on 29 October.
