MIXUE deepens Philippine expansion through regional operating model

The company is leveraging capabilities from Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia to scale locally.

MIXUE is expanding its presence in the Philippines as part of its Southeast Asian strategy, identifying the country as a high-growth market for freshly prepared beverages due to its population of more than 100 million, young consumer base, expanding modern retail sector, and rising consumer demand.

The company said the Philippine market remains at an earlier stage of development than Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia, providing greater potential for long-term expansion.

MIXUE said its growth is underpinned by an integrated operating system spanning product research and development, raw material supply, intelligent manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, cold-chain distribution, digital operations, and standardised store management.

The company said these capabilities enable product consistency and support stable operations at scale.

Globally, MIXUE operates nearly 60,000 stores, including more than 5,000 outside China, with Southeast Asia serving as a core market in its international expansion.

The company also maintains standardised processes across product quality, food safety, store design, customer service, and product innovation, whilst using its Snow King mascot to strengthen brand recognition across markets.

MIXUE said its operating model has already been validated in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia through supply chain development, local team expansion, and operational improvements.

It added that these markets benefit from shared supply chain resources, management expertise, and operational experience across the region.

As it expands, the company said it aims to create employment opportunities; develop local talent; support industries including logistics, warehousing, store construction, and equipment maintenance; and strengthen business partnerships as part of its long-term investment strategy.
