Domino’s Pizza announces hunt for hand model

The model will be paid $100 an hour.

Domino’s Pizza ANZ is looking for a hand model for their new menu range.

According to the pizza chain’s press release, the new hand model must be 18 years old and above, can lift a minimum of four pizza slices per hand whilst being able to hold still for long periods.

Domino’s said the ideal candidate is a master at shadow puppets, can execute a perfect cheese stretch, thinks using a knife and fork to eat pizza is weird, and is never that one person in the group photo who doesn’t know what to do with their hands.

The applicant will spend the day at Domino’s Support Office in Brisbane, Queensland for the job. The applicant must also be willing to sign an NDA following the visit.

To apply, the applicant must complete a survey and submit a photo of their best pizza hand modelling poses or a 30-second video demonstrating their pizza-holding skills on Domino’s website.

According Domino’s ANZ People Business Partner Matt Baldwin, the applicant will be paid $100 an hour for their time and have a rare, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend a day at Domino’s Global Headquarters in Brisbane modelling the next big Domino’s menu innovation.

“The chosen Hand Model will also receive a tour of Domino’s top-secret Innovation Kitchen, spend time in the ‘Say Cheese’ professional photo studio, and of course, enjoy a pizza lunch as a thanks for all their hand work,” Baldwin said.

The application to be the next Domino’s ANZ hand model closes at midnight on on 20 May 2024.
