Domino's Australia releases statement on shareholder class action

Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd (ASX: DMP) has been served with a shareholder class action filed in the Federal Court of Australia.

The proceeding has been filed by Echo Law on behalf of the applicant and persons who entered into a contract to acquire an interest in ordinary shares in Domino’s or long exposure to Domino’s shares by entering into equity swap confirmations in respect of Domino’s shares, during the period between 18 August 2021 and 3 November 2021 (inclusive).

The proceeding includes allegations that Domino's engaged in misleading or deceptive conduct and breached its disclosure obligations with respect to Domino’s expected performance in the Japan market.

Domino’s denies any liability and will defend the proceeding.

This announcement has been authorised for release by the Board of Directors.
