Coca-Cola reportedly mulling sale of Costa Coffee

The brand has over 2,800 outlets in the UK.

The Coca-Cola company is reportedly exploring a potential sale of UK coffee chain Costa Coffee, media reports revealed.

A report from Sky News said that the beverage giant is now in talks with a few potential bidders, including private equity groups.

A separate report from Reuters said that Coca-Cola has tapped investment bank Lazard to review options, including a sale.

Coca-Cola acquired Costa Coffee in 2018 and currently has a presence in 50 countries.
