Caffè Nero UK sales up by 8% in Q3
This is attributed to the Christmas season, with a 14% sales increase.
Caffè Nero saw UK sales rise by 8% in the third quarter of its financial year, ending in February, supported by a busy Christmas season that brought in over two million customers and a 14% sales boost in December alone.
The holiday period also marked two record sales weeks of over £9m, with the highest-ever single day hitting £1.5m. Like-for-like sales in the UK were up 6.2%.
Globally, the Nero Group reported 11% overall sales growth and a 5.5% increase in like-for-like sales for the quarter.
Sales across its 11 trading markets rose 12.6% over the first three quarters of the financial year.
