Talabat, LOYAC unite to expand food aid distribution in Kuwait
The initiative supports 300 families with essential food baskets.
Talabat, an online food and grocery delivery platform operating across the Middle East and North Africa and part of Delivery Hero, has partnered with Kuwait-based non-profit LOYAC to launch a food aid distribution initiative supporting families in Kuwait, according to a company statement.
As part of the initiative, volunteers from both organisations packed and distributed baskets to 300 families across the country, with all supplies sourced through Talabat Mart.
Talabat said the programme forms part of its corporate social responsibility efforts focused on community support and access to essential goods.
“Through this initiative and our collaboration with LOYAC, we aim to support families across Kuwait by improving access to essential food supplies and contributing to broader efforts that elevate the everyday quality of life for our society,” said Amal Bukhamseen, manager of corporate affairs at Talabat Kuwai.
Lulwa AlSharrah, specialist at the community empowerment department at LOYAC, said the collaboration helps ensure essential food aid reaches families in need.
Talabat said it continues to work with partners on CSR initiatives addressing community needs across Kuwait.
