SpudBros Express signs Scotland expansion deal

The first site is scheduled to open in Edinburgh in July.

SpudBros Express, a jacket potato chain created by the founders of SpudBros in partnership with Taster, has signed an agreement with franchise operator SUR Group to expand into Scotland.

The deal includes the opening of the brand's first Scottish outlet on Lothian Road in Edinburgh in July 2026, with additional locations planned across the country.

The opening will mark the brand's entry into the Scottish market.

SUR Group CEO Suhail Rehman and Business Development Director Tariq Din will oversee the Scottish operation.

The Edinburgh site was chosen for its central location and high levels of pedestrian traffic, serving a mix of residents, students, and visitors.
