Pickl enters Oman with Muscat outlet
This expands UAE group Yolk Brands Oman presence after it launched BonBird in 2025.
United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based Pickl has opened its first location at Souq Al Madina in Muscat, Oman, marking its entry into the Sultanate, Yolk Brands said in a press release.
The expansion is carried out in partnership with MENA Foods & Investments. The group previously introduced Pickl’s sister brand BonBird to Oman in 2025.
The Muscat outlet operates daily from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m., comprising 45 square metres (sq m) of indoor space and 155 sq m of outdoor space, which can seat 36 customers indoors and 56 outdoors.
Its menu includes smash burgers, crispy chicken sandwiches, loaded fries, and house-made sauces, with delivery launching through Talabat.
To mark the opening, the first 100 customers received merchandise and “Pick n’ Mix” giveaways.
Stephen Flawith, Founder and CEO of Yolk Brands, said scaling across markets requires consistency and focus on food quality.
“Oman has been an exciting market for us, and our partnership with MENA Foods & Investments has played an important role in how we’ve approached it. Following the successful launch of BonBird, bringing Pickl to Muscat felt like a natural next step,” Flawith said.
Tahir Al Balushi, CEO of MENA Foods & Investments, said the launch of BonBird established a foundation in Oman, adding that the introduction of Pickl followed as a continuation of the partnership.
Yolk Brands operates more than 50 restaurants across the region, including in the UAE, Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Jordan, and Oman.
The group includes Pickl and BonBird, with the former planning a UK launch.
