Italian Street Kitchen makes Adelaide debut on Currie Street
Additional Adelaide locations are already in the pipeline.
Italian Street Kitchen will open on Currie Street on 10 June 2026, marking its first site in South Australia.
The company says further Adelaide venues are already planned.
“This opening is just the beginning of more to come; we see enormous potential to grow more of our brands in Adelaide,” said Gareth Howard, the managing director of Blue Coral Concepts.
The restaurant has worked with Provence Flour & Malt to develop ingredient blends sourced from Australian family-run farms.
The menu combines Italian cooking methods with Australian influences.
Dishes include a reworked bruschetta made with house-made pizza dough shaped into a doughnut-style base, topped with confit cherry tomatoes, stracciatella, and basil oil.
A tiramisu variation incorporates lamington cake, whilst the bolognese is served with radiatori pasta and finished with bone-marrow pangrattato.
The venue is designed to accommodate both group dining and smaller occasions.
The drinks programme includes a mix of Italian and Australian wines such as Tin Shed, Main & Cherry Shiraz, and Emmalene Sparkling Rosé, along with cocktails including a limoncello-based mojito variation and a modern take on the Negroni.
To mark the opening, guests who pre-book will receive a complimentary “Adelaide Spritz” made with apple, lemon myrtle, and prosecco.
During opening week, passersby in the Currie Street area may also receive dessert items when making purchases over $25.
