McDonald’s unveils new line of refreshers and sodas in the US
The brand is also launching limited-edition drink carriers.
McDonald’s has announced six new drinks in the US, part of its new line of refreshers and sodas.
The starting lineup includes three new Refreshers and three crafted sodas coming to restaurants nationwide.
The line up includes the Strawberry Watermelon Refresher, which combines strawberry and watermelon flavours with a lemonade base, finished with freeze-dried strawberries for added flavour and texture.
Mango Pineapple Refresher mixes mango and pineapple flavours with a lemonade base, paired with strawberry popping boba for added texture and bursts of flavour.
Blackberry Passion Fruit Refresher blends blackberry and passion fruit flavours with lemonade, topped with freeze-dried dragon fruit.
Sprite Berry Blast combines Sprite with blue raspberry syrup and is finished with cold foam. Orange Dream blends Hi-C Orange Lavaburst with vanilla flavour and is topped with cold foam and a Dirty Dr Pepper that layers Dr Pepper with vanilla flavour and is finished with cold foam.
“Our fans have an obsession with beverages – to them, drinks are more than just drinks. And soon, our beverages won’t just be a reason you come to McDonald’s, they’ll be the reason,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, chief Marketing and customer experience officer at McDonald’s USA.
Meanwhile, the group is also partnering with accessories brand designer Susan Alexandra to launch a limited-edition beaded carriers. Each carrier comes with a $10 McDonald’s Arch Card.
