Domino's Pizza China targets 350 new sites in 2026
As of Q1 2026, the company operated 1,462 stores across 72 cities.
Domino's Pizza China (DPC Dash) aims to open about 350 net new stores in 2026 to expand its footprint in the market.
By the end of the first quarter of 2026, the company operated 1,462 stores across 72 cities, a net increase of 147 stores, and entered 12 new cities during the period.
The combined pipeline of net new stores, outlets under construction, and signed leases accounted for 65% of its full-year 2026 opening target, indicating a faster-than-planned rollout pace.
The company’s expansion is being driven mainly by non-Tier 1 cities, whilst Tier 1 cities continue to contribute a stable revenue base with established store performance.
DPC Dash also reported that its stores held all of the top 50 positions globally for first-30-day sales across the Domino’s network of more than 22,100 stores, highlighting strong early-store performance in its China operations.
In terms of market positioning, mainland China remains the third-largest international market within the global Domino’s system by store count.
During the quarter, the company introduced several menu items, including limited-time and upgraded pizza variants such as Yak Beef Matsutake Ham Fortune Pizza for Lunar New Year, Bolognaise Plus Pizza, Snowball Cheese Margherita Pizza, and the Quadruple Cheese Grand Slam Pizza, alongside additions to rice and pasta offerings.
Marketing activity included the relaunch of “Mega Week” and an extension of its “Crazy Tuesday & Wednesday” promotion through Thursday.
The company also partnered with the Dunhuang Museum to release cultural and creative merchandise, incorporating Chinese cultural themes into its branding and promotional activities.
