Zeus Street Greek gets private equity backing
This comes following the brand’s expansion towards drive-thrus.
Zeus Street Greek has announced that it has received additional funding from mid-market private equity firm Whiteoak to rapidly expand the business, according to their post in LinkedIn.
Details of the deal were not revealed. However, the brand said that the company remains founder-led, with Costa Anastasiadis, Peter Koutsovasilis and Terry Anastasiadis ‘retaining a significant ownership stake’.
Whiteoak is a Sydney and Melbourne-based private equity firm established in 2016, specialising in growth capital for established Australian and New Zealand companies. The firm looks for established companies to invests between $20m and $60m, focusing on technology, services, industrials and consumer sectors.
Recently, Zeus Street Greek announced that it is launching drive-thru formats, with three sites secured for 2026.
