Burger King reworks Beef Wellington as a Wagyu burger

It is also bringing back “The Wagyu” and adding new sides, including truffle-loaded fries.

Burger King UK is rolling out the new Wagyu Wellington, which is part of its Gourmet Kings line and takes cues from a beef Wellington, but in burger form.

The burger features British wagyu beef, flame-grilled and topped with a porcini mushroom sauce.

It also includes bacon, peppery rocket, caramelised onions, and crispy onions, all served in a brioche bun.

Alongside the new burger, the chain is bringing back “The Wagyu” and adding new sides, including truffle-loaded fries.

The items are available for a limited period in restaurants and via delivery apps, with a discount promotion running on Just Eat for orders over £20.
