KFC UK&I expands British chicken sourcing to include wings

It will add £10m to its British chicken spend, reaching nearly £100m.

By the end of 2026, 35% of KFC UK & Ireland’s chicken will come from British farms, the company has said.

The move will add around £10m to KFC’s annual spend on British chicken, bringing the total to nearly £100m.

The change comes as KFC expands its sourcing of British chicken to include wings through its ongoing partnership with 2 Sisters Food Group.

The inclusion of wings will bring the volume of British chicken on KFC’s menu to 82,700 metric tons annually.

Only boneless chicken will still be imported, due to the limited availability of British chicken breasts.
