GDK fires up menu with new ghost chilli ‘Inferno OG’
The launch comes as 53% of UK consumers said they now prefer spicy food.
German Doner Kebab (GDK) has launched the Inferno OG, a spicier version of its original OG Kebab made with a new ghost chilli–based Inferno Sauce.
The launch follows growing interest in hot foods, with 53% of UK consumers now saying they prefer spicy flavours—up from 42% three years ago.
The sauce, developed exclusively for GDK, features ghost chillies that are hundreds of times hotter than jalapeños, aiming to add heat without overwhelming the kebab’s usual flavours.
