PizzaExpress Hong Kong serves new locally inspired menu
It has partnered with local staple Lee Kum Kee to develop the menu.
UK-born chain PizzaExpress is rolling out a Hong Kong–inspired menu this September, drawing on local culinary traditions.
The chain has partnered with the Hong Kong household brand "Lee Kum Kee" to develop this special menu.
The menu, called Flavours of Hong Kong, includes dishes such as ‘real’ pineapple dough balls, Singapore noodles pizza, Hainan chicken pizza, satay braised beef spaghetti, and desserts like buttered French dough. Drinks include cocktails named Tropical Bliss and Black Cow.
Alongside the new dishes, "Flavours of Hong Kong" features exclusive Hong Kong-themed souvenirs and accessories.
Customers spending HK$580 or more receive branded accessories, whilst those spending HK$980 or more will get an additional red-white-blue-themed crossbody bag. Supplies are limited and available only whilst stocks last.
PizzaExpress Hong Kong is also running several promotions alongside the launch. Between 16 September and 17 November, diners can get half-price à la carte traditional pizzas from Monday to Thursday if they are members (40% for non-members).
The offer applies to 11 Classic pizzas (original size), including the new Hainan Chicken Pizza.
An “All You Can Eat” deal runs on weekdays from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. until 27 October, priced at HK$98 for adults and HK$58 for children.
The menu includes staples like Margherita pizza, Peking Duck pizza, American pizzas, baked dough balls, and the new Hainan chicken pizza.
Another special runs until 17 November, pairing baked potato skins or chicken wings with a small Peroni beer for HK$118, with extra beers available at HK$28 each.
